I've been cheating...

I've been keeping this a little hush hush as I was worried advertising it would affect how people see my business but something that's been going on behind the scenes in recent months is that Joe (my husband) & I have set up our own little business together - The Wedding Attic - Event Decor & Styling - go give the page a follow!

I am still very much running Inspirique Baby Photography and absolutely nothing has changed with that. That's still my full time job and I'm still doing just as many shoots and just as much effort is still going into it so please don't think you'll be getting any less of a service. But my little weekend 'side hustle' is now styling weddings, which I'm loving I obviously love to create sets for the photography business so I'm in my element getting to decorate whole venues (helps with the wedding blues too ).

We got the idea from our own wedding, we designed and hand made everything and because of how much blood, sweat and tears we put into it (literally), I didn't want to part with the things we'd made so the business brain in me decided to start hiring them out for a DIY service for a bit of extra money and we made the third floor of Inspirique's studio a little showroom. Well, this idea we thought would just be a handful of weddings a year soon turned into a full on business with enquiries coming out of our ears so we made the decision for Joe to quit his full time job and run this new business venture full time.

So Joe now runs The Wedding Attic, and is the 'behind the scenes' admin, marketing & logistics side of the business, and so I can still run Inspirique, I'm just the 'front of house' meaning I'll meet with brides and be the one to style the weddings. So we have completely different roles but together are so far making a great team.

Because it took off so quickly, we've since made and purchased more stock and soon outgrew the room we had at the studio so a couple of weeks ago we signed a lease for our very own 5 room building. It used to be a very purple dance school so it's taken a lot of work to transform into a beautiful wedding showroom but it's finally ready so thought I'd officially announce the business and share some photos with you all.
