I became registered with IPPN (Independent Professional Photographers Network) back in November, and finally decided to enter into the monthly competition they run. There's a months wait before the judges announce the results, and with it being my first entry I was quite nervous, but I was very honoured when I found out I'd received a bronze award, for a recent maternity photoshoot I did at my home studio. I'll be entering again this month, so wish me luck!!
