THE EXPERIENCE
I don't like to just call it a newborn photoshoot, because it's so much more than that, it's a whole experience. I'm your babysitter, your none-judgmental Mum friend, your ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, advice giver, and I like to think a friend by the time you leave. Yes I am professional, of course I am. But I'll openly speak about how my nipples bled during breastfeeding and how I struggle parenting some days. I'm not clinical, I'm not 'by the book' like you get at most baby related appointments. I'm a fellow Mummy that will laugh and cry with you, I'm just real, and in return you will be comfortable.
As well as creating a safe and relaxing home from home environment for you parents and your baby, you'll also be well looked after. I will take care of your newborn and give them all of their feeds (obviously bottle, not breast, I'm not THAT over friendly). I'll burp them, comfort them, change their nappy and get them dressed.. all if you're happy for me to. So you can enjoy the complimentary afternoon tea that's provided at your session. It's your time to sit back and put your feet up, and actually enjoy a hot drink, which becomes rare when you're a new parent! If you have older children there's a play area in a separate room so they're entertained too.
The photography studio is specially designed for babies and new parents, with a prep machine and a bottle warmer for you to make your bottles just as you would at home. There is also a nursing chair for you Mummy's to have a comfortable and relaxed place to feed your baby. We even have a bed in studio two should you wish to have a snooze (you wouldn't be the first). As well as afternoon tea there's plenty of snacks and drinks on tap. Everything is taken care of for you, for a stress free experience.

We dedicate 100% of our time and effort into perfecting our skill so you know you're coming to a safe place. Where you have your newborns photos taken matters. As a Mum myself, I know how you may be feeling after giving birth. You might be exhausted, a little stressed or anxious and most likely still a little uncomfortable. THE MINI SESSION
Mini sessions are 'no faff photoshoots', one set price, quicker, simpler sessions just to capture the necessary photos you want. There's 3 choices, posed, wrapped or family. All are the same price with the same amount of images included. However, they cannot be combined. If you wish to have a mix of posed, wrapped and family images, you will need to book a full creative newborn photoshoot which includes all of this and more. The idea of the mini session is to focus on just one of these.
They're much quicker as they take 1/3 of the time and they're one set price so no coming back to view a big gallery. We can usually take last minute bookings for these unlike the waiting list we have for the full sessions, just because they're easier to slot into the diary and don't take up a whole day. Mini sessions are perfect for those with a smaller budget, a busier schedule or parents who just want a handful of lovely photos without it being a big event.

We went to choose our package and all I can say is WOW!! The photos are absolutely perfect! I love each and every one of them & the slideshow brought me to tears as they capture every last detail of how precious Rosie is to us. I can honestly say you can tell Jade loves her job, she adds that small personal touch to every picture taken, every set up she chooses, and every position she places your baby in and you wouldn’t get anywhere else. AFTER THE NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT
At the end of your photoshoot we'll set a date for you to come back and view your images, which will be scheduled for around 2 weeks after the session. I will then process your images to the highest standard, spending time turning them into beautiful art work - giving you a wide range to choose from at your in person viewing appointment.
As I know you will be very keen to see some photos, I will get a preview onto social media within a few days as it is a great way to tag and share with your friends and family. However, if you do wish to keep your images private, this is no problem at all, just inform me of this beforehand. If you do want to see the upload, there will be a free print up for grabs too.
You will then be invited back to see your gallery on a slideshow with music, where I will help you chose and pick the package suited to you and your budget. I will also guide you with what images work best together for any prints and wall art you may decide to get. Please note, I am just there to advise you from my professional point of view and there is never any hard sell.
I’ve recently given birth to my first and I really wanted someone to capture my precious baby in his first few weeks, all Mother’s say time flies by so quick and before you know it they are all grown up. I was quite nervous about someone posing my baby who was only 10 days at the time but boy am I glad I had the pictures taken.. Jade was amazing! Before the shoot I received an email containing all the information I needed to know about the day. On the day I felt so comfortable with the shoot, Jade was so great with him, she stopped to let me feed him and didn’t rush me at all, she wasn’t bothered about the wee and pooh everywhere during the shoot either. I am so glad I had the shoot done!

BOOK YOUR NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT
Newborn photoshoots are generally booked after your 12 week scan. It sounds crazy thinking about it so early on but sessions are very limited due to the unpredictability of when babies arrive, for this reason I can only take a maximum of 10 newborn bookings per month to allow for early/ late arrivals as no date is set until baby arrives.
Please reserve your slot as soon as you possibly can to avoid disappointment.I will always try my best to accommodate last minute bookings, which are sometimes doable if babies don't arrive on time as it'll allow a free date in the diary, but please be aware I am not always able to do so, do not rely on this option! If your baby has already been born, please contact us before booking directly online.
